What is it?
Our Larry's Party Fun Raising Campaign was such a success that we
are continuing to invite individuals, groups and businesses to host
a Larry’s Party invite their friends, group members or co-workers
and offer them the opportunity to give a donation to the Carol Shields
Memorial Labyrinth.
What can you do?
• Host a Larry’s Party.
• Invite members of your group, friends or co-workers and
offer them the opportunity to give a donation to the Carol Shields
Memorial Labyrinth.
• Encourage community groups, businesses and friends to have
a Larry’s Party. |

Who’s had a Larry’s Party?
The Millennium Book Club
The Millennium Book Club inspired the idea. To get rid of the Winnipeg
Winter Blahs!, Linda Norman invited her Book Club to a Larry’s Party
dinner. Instead of asking them to bring a food contribution, she prepared
the dinner and offered them each a donation form for the Carol Shields
Memorial Labyrinth which they could complete and mail in if they wished.
They raised over $300.00 with their evening of fun!

Businesses
The Manitoba Tourism Education Council will be matching employee donations
made at their monthly staff potluck lunch which had a Larry's Party
theme. |
Schools
St. Avila School invited Winnipeggers to join the Larry's Party
Fun! Raising Campaign by walking a snow labyrinth at King’s
Park Thursday, March 2, 2006.
Grosvenor School is featuring Lunchtime Labyrinth Walks at 12:25 p.m.
on March 10, 17, 24, April 7 and 21. |

Seniors
Creative Retirement is offering a Larry’s Party Lunchtime Labyrinth
Walk, Monday, March 27, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.. at St. Peter’s
Anglican Church, Elm and Grant. People will be encouraged to bring
a bag lunch and dessert will be provided. |
